The signature Oribe scent, bottled in an Eau de Parfum.

The Review:

What I love about fragrance is its ability to transport you – whether it’s a memory, a destination or just a vibe – the power of fragrance can be completely transcendent.

In case you are unfamiliar with the Oribe brand, it’s the embodiment of luxury hair, craftsmanship and pure alchemy! They are best known for their Gold Lust collection, designed to repair and restore the hair.

All their hair products are laced with their signature scent, and I’m so glad they decided to put this in a standalone bottle, so I can enjoy the fragrance from head to toe!

The Cote D’Azure perfume falls in the warm citrus family. The more prominent notes are bergamot and Sicilian orange. It’s a very confident and sophisticated fragrance. For me, it conjures up images of a modern, timelessly stylish woman walking through the Place Vendome in Paris, heading towards a grand Parisian hotel.

Being an Eau de Parfum, the scent lingers for quite a while. I usually apply this in the morning, and reapply around mid-afternoon.

The Fragrance Notes:

Top Notes: Fresh lemon, plum, black currant, Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian orange

Middle Notes: Tuberose, blue cyclamen, white butterfly jasmine

Drydown Notes: Sandalwood, vetiver, crisp amber
