An anti-aging eye serum from the iconic Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair range.

So here is the thing, I feel very conflicted writing this review…
I was so impressed with the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II (see my separate review here), I couldn’t wait to try more from this range.
Estee Lauder makes a separate eye serum as a targeted anti-aging solution for the undereye area. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to the expectation.
I’ve applied it every night for almost a month, together with another eyecream. I feel while it’s a good hydrating serum, it doesn’t have the magical power of the original Advanced Night Repair Serum.
The texture is more like an eyecream, and doesn’t have any scent.
It’s packaged in a mini pump bottle. 1 pump is enough to do both eyes. There is a little slip to the texture and it absorbs quite well.
After application, the undereye area definitely look hydrated, but I’m not seeing much effect on my fine lines.
While I consider the original Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II as my holy-grail anti-aging serum, I was disappointed at the undereye serum. It may be that my expectations were too high, after my experiences with the original serum. I feel bad for writing a negative review, but unfortunately the performance of the undereye serum was underwhelming.
