A pigmented lip stain with a soft cotton like feel, courtesy of innisfree.
The Review:
The innisfree Vivid Cotton Ink is a lightweight lip tint with a range of everyday wear shades.
It has a creamy formula and comes with a doe-foot wand applicator. Upon first impression, it looks very similar to a pigmented lipgloss or liquid lipstick, but it’s actually a beautiful matte lip stain.
In terms of application, avoid swiping on the product directly onto the lips, as it would deposit way too much product. The best way is to use the doe foot, and dab a few small dots onto the lips. Then spread it around either with a lip brush or fingers.
When the formula is first applied, it looks a little wet, but it dries down to a soft matte finish.
The wear feels extremely lightweight and long lasting. I won’t call this completely transfer-proof, but definitely lasts through drinking and some eating. A little touchup would be required after a full meal.
