The Review:
The Amazonian Clay range from Tarte has a huge fan base in the online beauty community. When they released new highlighters for this range, of course I had to check them out. I have here Stunner, Sparkler, Exposed Highlight and Daygleam.
All the shades I picked lean towards the warm side. They are finely milled and have an elegant shimmery finish. Blends like a dream! It almost has a creamy consistency. According to the brand’s official releases, they are “infused with micro-pearlescent flecks…to create a seamless strobing effect”.
Some shades are quite pigmented, such as Sparkler which can double as a bronzer. You can add them to your cheekbones, top the eyebrow or anywhere you want a pop of highlight. Lasting power is fantastic – the 12-hour claim is definitely true.
